SCREENish is a time tracking app for teams: your employees track their working time with a small desktop or mobile application, and you see the results in a web dashboard. Alongside the hours, the app records screenshots and keyboard and mouse activity levels, so a timesheet line is something you can verify rather than something you have to take on faith.

Tracking works offline as well. When the connection drops, the app keeps recording on the device and syncs everything once it is back online.

• Time per project, with weekly budget limits, hourly rates and optional manual time permissions.

Monitoring that stays honest

Screenshots and activity levels answer most questions, and the harder cases are handled with the same principle: a person makes the call, not an algorithm. Stretches of time that look like a mouse jiggler or auto-clicker go to a human review queue. Face recognition (in limited beta) can confirm who is actually tracking time, and only after the employee consents. Employees can blur sensitive data on their screenshots before upload and can delete a screenshot that caught something private, leaving a visible marker in the log.
